Welcome to the Biology/Life Science Workshop. During the next eight months we will be learning the California State Standards in Biology/Life Sciences. This will be done through power point presentations, demonstrations and laboratory experiments. Our focus for this year will be on investigation & experimentation, cellular biology, genetics, ecology, evolution and physiology.
You will be receiving a spiral bound notebook that is essential to the success of this course. This interactive notebook will contain all information and work completed during the workshop. Do NOT lose it or use it for any other purpose. You will need all the pages! Be careful with it - take care of it, you will be amazed at how much you have learned at the end of the year.

I've been married for 29 years. My husband, Michael, is an Orthopaedic Surgeon and is the medical Advisor for PYLUSD athletics. All three of my children have attended Esperanza High School. Brian, graduated in 2003, attended UCLA and is currently in Law School in D.C. Stephanie graduated in 2006, attends Simmons College in Boston and will be graduating with a degree in Public Relations/Business Management in May 2010. Scott is a Senior at Esperanza and is Lead trombone in band and a varsity football player. We love skiing, cruising and sunsets on the beaches of Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
